Lockheed Martin donates additional $1 million to support long-term recovery of communities impacted by Hurricane Milton
Lockheed Martin announced an additional $1 million in charitable donations to support Hurricane Helene and Milton recovery and preparedness activities that will serve our communities longer-term. The contributions announced today include a $500,000 charitable donation to Rebuilding Together for Tampa Bay and Central Florida recovery efforts as well as a $500,000 donation to Florida food banks including Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Feeding Tampa Bay.
“Rebuilding Together is working around the clock to provide assistance to Floridians recently impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton,” said Maureen Carlson, president and CEO of Rebuilding Together. “We are deeply grateful for Lockheed Martin’s generosity and partnership as we work together to offer aid and support to those in need in the aftermath of these storms.”
These efforts will support the state of Florida for the rest of hurricane season and beyond, complementing our $1 million charitable donation to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Helene relief.
Lockheed Martin has also activated its Employee Disaster Relief Fund to provide emergency assistance to employees residing in FEMA-declared counties affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Lockheed Martin philanthropic contributions align to critical community resilience efforts, military and veteran causes, and STEM educational initiatives. Lockheed Martin employees extend the company’s commitment to these causes through their personal giving and volunteerism, building stronger communities where our teammates live and work.
